IQMRI’s governance model reflects a balance of scientific independence and
accountability. The Institute is overseen by a Board of Directors responsible for fiscal
and operational stewardship.
Complementing this, a Board of Advisors—made up of senior leaders from defense,
academia, and industry—provides external insight, mentorship, and technical guidance. Advisors serve under nondisclosure agreements, contributing their expertise to align IQMRI with emerging research priorities

IQMRI applies a Blue Ocean strategy, a concept introduced by professors W. Chan
Kim and Renée Mauborgne, to focus on innovation in new, underexplored domains
